This collection of cottage studios is especially popular with students due to their convenient location; you can get everywhere in Santa Barbara by bike, bus, or foot. There is an International vibe, with lush gardens throughout, and a common courtyard. It is a great place to live and/or study, but you want to party head to State St or look for an apartment in Isla Vista.
No long term leases, only a 4-month minimum, so you can easily rent by the semester. This increases the number of students, but everyone is welcome to apply for a studio. We have studios for $895 to $995 depending on size, and the 2 bedroom is full for Fall 2007.. (check Craig's List for current prices and open house times).
Most of our tenants are college students and International students (Brooks, SBCC, UCSB, English Language School), however with only a few studios in the complex, we expect all tenants to be considerate of their neighbors (no wild parties). We can also be found on the SBCC Housing List and Craig's List.
Each studio is furnished with a bed and has a bathroom and full kitchen or small kitchenette (sink, small fridge, burner). Utilities are included and many of the studios get wireless internet as a bonus. Coin-op laundry and a Pepsi machine are on site. Parking is located across the street in the Office Max back-lot.
