Please collect the key and pay for your accommodation at our sister property, Santa Barbara Tourist
Hostel at 134 Chapala Street (beach side of train station; close
to State Street).
Directions to SB Hostel: (to check in)
- Train: Directly across the tracks, toward the beach.
- Bus: Walk 1 block to State St. then 8 blocks down or take the 25¢ Downtown Shuttle to train station at Yanonali St.
- Driving from the South: Exit 101 at Cabrillo Blvd, go left and follow beachfront past State St., take the next right on Chapala St., and we are 2 blocks up on the right.
- Driving from the North: Exit 101 at Garden St. and turn right, follow to the beach, turn right on Cabrillo Blvd, pass State St., and take the next right on Chapala St. Find us 2 blocks up on the right, at Yanonali St

From the 101
South (coming from Los Angeles, San Diego)
Take the Cabrillo
Boulevard exit, left, and follow the beach road all the way to
State Street; turn right and go four blocks until you reach Haley Street,
turn right, go two and a half blocks and we are on the left hand
side, the parking lot is on the right.
From the 101
North (Coming from San Francisco,
Santa Cruz, San Luis Obispo)
Take the Garden Street exit,
turn left, then left on
Gutierrez Street for one block. Turn right onto Santa
Barbara Street one block and turn right onto Haley Street, we
are a little way down on the left side, the parking lot is on the right.
From the Amtrak Train Station
Walk toward the mountains to State Street, the main street, with brick sidewalks. Walk three blocks up (you will go under the
freeway) and turn right into Haley Street. We are 2.5 blocks
down the road on the left-hand side.
From The Greyhound Bus Station
Walk half a block to your left from the exit
until you meet State Street (it's the main street with bricks
on the sidewalk). Turn right on State Street and walk five blocks
down until you meet Haley St. Turn left into Haley Street,
we are 2.5 blocks down the road on the left-hand side.
